Pannell Meadowview Pool

The Pannell Meadowview Pool is an option for those on a tight budget or those who
use a gym that doesn't have a Masters swim program. The pool is open from March
through October. During the summer the pool is open for lap swimming during the
morning, noon, and evening. For specific times, call the pool at (916) 808-6622.
There is a small group of masters swimmers that informally meets during the evening
lap swim time (5:15-7:15 pm on TWTh). They arrive between 5:30-6 pm and use
workouts downloaded from the USMS workout forum. The cost to swim at this pool is
$3/session or 20 swims for $30 with a lap swim card. Since this is a public pool, you
must supply your own towel and toiletries. For more information, contact Linda Lee.

Saturday Coached Workouts
Sacramento Masters sponsers coached workouts open to the public on selected
Saturdays from 8:30-10 am at various pools in the Sacramento area. The workouts
rotate year round among Rio Del Oro, Laguna Creek Racquet Club, Natomas Racqet
Club, and Pannell Meadowview (during the summer only). There is no charge unless
the workout is at the Pannell Meadowview Pool. There is a charge of $3 for Pannell
Meadowview to cover the cost of pool rental. The workout is generally followed by a
potluck brunch held on the pool deck. You can participate in either the workout or
the brunch. Please check the calendar to find out when the next special Saturday
workout is scheduled. The Saturday workout is labeled on the calendar as "Coach's
